Author Guidelines

If you want to send articles, what you need to pay attention to is:

  1. Articles must be original and have never been published in any media, including repositories in the library.
  2. The article content is the result of research relating to Film Studies, Video Art, New Media Art, Television Studies, Communication Strategies in the Field of Television and Film, Communication Models Used in the Field of Television and Film, The Study of Media Texts in Television Program and Film, Marketing Studies on Television and Film, Management Studies on Television and Film
  3. Articles are presented in the form of popular scientific articles.
  4. The title of the article is arranged in effective and specific sentences, a maximum of 12 words, without abbreviations.
  5. The scripts are typed in Trebuchet MS  font format, 10 font sizes (except abstracts and 9 font size reference lists), spaced 1 (except abstracts and single space reference lists). Margin: Top, Left, Right and Bottom: 2,54 cm.
  6. The systematics of script writing is as follows:
  • Title (Capitalize Each Word, in Indonesian and English)
  • The names of all the authors, the names of each author's agency, the address of the agency, the email address of each / all authors, the cellphone number (preferably connected with the WhatsApp application) that can be contacted.
  • Correspondence: Full name & title of the author, agency address and email of the main author.
  • Abstract displays the essence of writing; consists of problems, goals, methods, and results. Arranged in one paragraph with single spaces; accompanied by five (5) keywords. Made in Indonesian and English.
  • Introduction (without subtitles).
  • Research Method.
  • Results and Discussion (in the results include the findings data both in table form or interview results, while in the discussion must be accompanied by relevant reference citations).
  • Conclusions.
  • Bibliography (only contains the sources cited in the article).
  • Tables and figures are numbered and titled at the bottom of the table/image.
  • Must cite Article from lecturers of film and television study programs or articles from Cinematology : Journal Anthology of Film and Television Studies

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
