Pemanfaatan Webinar Sebagai Media dalam Pembelajaran Kemampuan Berbicara untuk Pembelajar Dewasa di Indonesia

Abstract


Fenomena maraknya penggunaan webinar menjadi salah satu alasan dilakukannya penelitian ini. Ada empat tujuan penelitian. yaitu mengamati rencana pembelajaran yang disiapkan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara peserta didik dewasa, kemungkinan peningkatan yang diusulkan oleh guru dan peserta didik dewasa, untuk mengetahui motivasi peserta didik untuk mengikuti kelas berbicara di webinar, dan untuk mengetahui seberapa baik peserta didik terlibat dalam proses pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kasus untuk memahami fenomena spesifik yang terjadi di tempat tertentu. Triangulasi yang digunakan, berupa observasi, wawancara dan survei. Partisipan yang diamati adalah delapan pelajar dewasa dan dua guru dari perusahaan berpengalaman yang menyediakan kursus berbicara bahasa Inggris kepada pelajar dewasa melalui webinar dengan tambahan 108 koresponden survey. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa RPP yang digunakan sudah disesuaikan dengan format webinar dan selalu melibatkan siswa untuk aktif di kelas. hasil penilaian menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan berbicara siswa. Masalah berikutnya adalah kemungkinan perbaikan yang diusulkan. Koneksi internet, spesifikasi gadget dan komputer literasi harus menjadi aspek mayoritas yang harus ditingkatkan untuk sesi belajar mengajar yang lebih baik di webinar. Hasil ketiga terbagi menjadi tiga motif utama. Itu adalah tujuan pribadi, perintah perusahaan mereka, dan untuk sertifikat. Temuan terakhir tentang seberapa baik peserta didik dewasa terlibat dalam pembelajaran dan pengajaran keterampilan berbicara disimpulkan pada jawaban yang sesuai dengan karakteristik peserta didik dewasa, dan faktor-faktor seperti pembicara / guru dan seberapa menarik materi. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah penerapan pembelajaran kemampuan berbicara melalui webinar yang lebih baik dan apa yang perlu dipersiapkan dan ditingkatkan oleh semua pihak terkait.
