Analisis Kelancaran Prosedural dan Disposisi Produktif Matematis Murid: Faktor Penyebab dan Solusi Pembelajaran

Abstract


This study aims to describe the level of procedural fluency and mathematical productive disposition of class X-A students at SMA Muhammadiyah Mlati, Sleman. This study is important to identify the factors causing the low level of both abilities and to find solutions that can be applied. Procedural fluency and mathematical productive disposition play a role in improving students' understanding and skills in solving mathematical problems. This analysis is also relevant to international assessments, which assess critical thinking and problem-solving skills. This study used a qualitative descriptive method with three subjects from the high, medium, and low categories. The results showed that high category students met all indicators, the medium category only achieved some indicators, and the low category only met a few indicators. These low results indicate the need for more effective learning strategies to improve students' procedural understanding and productive disposition in mathematics
