Author Guidelines
JTIKOR only accepts manuscripts that align with the journal’s scope in applied sports science and have not been submitted to or published in any other journal, conference proceedings, or repository. By submitting to JTIKOR, the author confirms full responsibility for the originality, scientific validity, and integrity of the work, and agrees to follow the editorial and peer-review process until a final decision is reached.
Duplicate submission, redundant publication, salami slicing (inappropriately dividing one study into several papers), and plagiarism in any form will result in rejection or withdrawal of the manuscript. JTIKOR also does not accept manuscripts that have been made available as preprints.
Manuscript Types
The journal publishes:
Original research articles
Case studies in sports science application
Review articles relevant to exercise science, sports performance, physical education, or sports medicine
All submissions undergo double-blind peer review by at least two independent reviewers.

Submissions must be prepared in Microsoft Word format.

Manuscript Structure
1. Title
The title should clearly reflect the content of the article and consist of 8–14 words.
2. Abstract
The abstract must be written in both Bahasa Indonesia and English, each with a maximum of 200 words, and include 4–6 relevant keywords.
3. Introduction
The introduction is recommended to follow a three-part structure:
The first part should explain the significance or urgency of the research problem.
The second part should provide a review of relevant previous studies, highlighting gaps or research novelty.
The final part should state the research problem and the purpose of the study.
4. Method
This section must clearly describe the research method, participants, instruments used, and data analysis techniques.
5. Results
The results section should present the main findings of the study. Results must be presented in narrative form and may be supported with tables and/or figures. The use of bullet points or list formats is not allowed.
6. Discussion
The discussion should interpret the findings by comparing them with existing theories or previous research. This section should also include the limitations of the study.
7. Conclusion
Provide the main conclusions of the study and include recommendations for future research.
8. References
References must follow the APA (American Psychological Association) 6th edition citation style and should be managed using reference management software such as Mendeley. Download Mendeley
