Pemberdayaan Guru Sekolah Alam Tangerang melalui Pelatihan Gemini AI: Strategi Pembelajaran Personal untuk Meningkatkan Literasi Digital dan Transformasi Praktik Mengajar

Abstract

This program was designed to enhance the capacity of teachers at Sekolah Alam Tangerang in developing adaptive, research-based, and personalized teaching materials for elementary school students. The initiative emerged from the real needs of teachers to accelerate the production of high-quality learning resources, align instructional pathways with student characteristics, and efficiently utilize credible learning sources. The training was conducted at Sekolah Alam Tangerang, located in Nerogtog, Cipondoh, Kota Tangerang, Banten, and involved approximately 30 elementary school teachers. The implementation method combined the introduction of educational AI concepts, demonstrations of Gemini’s key features (Canvas, Deep Research, Guided Learning), hands-on practice sessions, group work, and task-based evaluation.The main outcomes revealed that most participants were able to operate Gemini’s core features to design digital teaching materials, conduct research on relevant learning resources, and develop adaptive learning pathways ready for classroom implementation. The immediate impact included improved technical skills among teachers and accelerated production of teaching materials, while the medium-term impact is expected to be an overall improvement in the quality of personalized learning in classrooms.The outputs of the program included a finalized training module, 30 sets of digital teaching materials produced by participants, several reusable Canvas templates, and a comprehensive activity report for publication along with recommendations for follow-up programs.
