Focus and Scope

Research in Early Childhood Education and Parenting (RECEP) is a peer-reviewed, professional scientific national journal in the field of Primary Education. RECEP, which focuses on the theoretical issues and pedagogical practices in early childhood education and parenting, published by Early Childhood Education Department, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, Purwakarta Campus. This journal is published twice in a year: April and November.

Peer Review Process

The Journal operates a peer review process and promotes blind reviewing. The acceptance or rejection of articles will be decided by the editorial boards based on the review results supplied by the reviewers. There are no communications between authors and editors concerning the rejection decision. Before going to review process, all manuscripts will be checked that they are free from plagiarism practice using "Turnitin" software. If there are an indication of plagiarism, the manuscript will instantly be rejected. Authors whose papers are rejected will be informed with the reasons of the rejection.

 

Publication Frequency

This journal is publised twice a year: April and November. Each year, this journal publishes 12 articles

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

 

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...

Aims

Research in Early Childhood Education and Parenting (RECEP) promotes research in the broad field of early childhood education and parenting with particular respect to Indonesia, but not limited to authorship or topical coverage within the region.

Contributions are expected from researchers, project managers, research administrators, undergraduate and graduate students, representing both public organizations and private industry. Equally, the journal is intended for scholars and students, researchers working at research organizations and government agencies, and also for enterprises undertaking applied R&D to lead innovations.

The editorial contents and elements that comprise the journal include:

  • Theoretical articles
  • Empirical studies
  • Practice-oriented papers
  • Case studies
  • Review of papers, books, and resources.

As far as the criteria for evaluating and accepting submissions is concerned, a rigorous review process will be used. Submitted papers will, prior to the formal review, be screened so as to ensure their suitability and adequacy to the journal. In addition, initial quality control will be performed, so as to ensure matters such as language, style of references and others, comply with the journal´s style

Plagiarism Screening

Ethical guidelines for journal publication

The publication of an article in the peer-reviewed journals published by Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia is process of permanent knowledge improvement. It is a direct reflection of the quality of the work of the authors and the institutions that support them. Peer-reviewed articles support and embody the scientific method. It is therefore important to agree upon standards of expected ethical behaviour for all parties involved in the act of publishing: the author, the journal editor, the peer reviewer, the publisher and the society of society-owned or sponsored journals.

We are committed to ensuring that advertising, reprint or other commercial revenue has no impact or influence on editorial decisions. In addition, Editorial Board will assist in communications with other journals and/or publishers where this is useful to editors.

 

Fees

Research in Early Childhood Education and Parenting (RECEP) does not charge any processing or publishing fees for every article published.
