PROFIL TINGKAT PENALARAN DAN PENINGKATAN PENGUASAAN KONSEP SISWA SMA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN FISIKA BERBASIS RANKING TASK EXERCISE PEER INSTRUCTION

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur peningkatan penguasaan konsep dan mengetahui profil tingkat penalaran siswa. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya penguasaan koonsep dan pengukuran tingkat penalaran siswa. Peer instruction dan ranking task exercise dapat digunakan sebagai solusi dalam upaya peningkatan penguasaan konsep dan pengukuran tingkat penalaran siswa. Penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan pretest and posttest group design dilakukan di kelas X di salah satu SMA Negeri Kota Bandung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan penguasaan konsep siswa dengan kategori sedang (N-Gain 0.41), dan tingkat penalaran siswa mulai paling banyak sampai sedikit, yaitu subfunctional (level 2), nearfunctional (level 3), functional (level 4), expert (level 5), alternative (level 1).

This study aims to measure the increased mastery of the concept and to know the reasoning level profile of students. The research was distributed by the importance of mastering the concept and measurement of the level of student reasoning. Peer instruction and ranking task exercise can be used as a solution in an attempt to increase the mastery of concepts and measurement of the level of student reasoning. Quasi experimental research with pretest and posttest design group performed in class X in one of the SMA Negeri Bandung. The results showed that the existence of an increased mastery of the concepts students with categories medium (N-Gain 0.41), and the level of student reasoning started at most until a little, namely subfunctional (level 2), nearfunctional (level 3), functional (level 4), expert (level 5), alternative (level 1).
