Abstract

Physics as one of part of science actually could be learned use multiple representation. Besides that, abilty to represent concept use multiple representation help students to understand concept and solve physics problems. Ability to interpret representation is affected by intelligences. Purpose of this research to know gain of students’s performance related to lingusitic, logical-mathematical, and visual-spatial intelligence. Instruments was used were questions posed in different representation, they are mathematics, verbal, picture, and diagram. Instruments was used to know students’s multiple intelligences was adopted from book Multiply Your Multiple Intelligences. Sample of this research was one of grade VIII in Junior High School in Bandung. Research design was One Group Pretest and Posttest Design that teaching and learning processes used Multiple Representation in chapter of Energy and Work. Research result show that gain of student’s performance related to linguistic intelligence is 0,28, gain of student’s performance related to logical-mathematical intelligence is 0,27, and gain of student’s performance related to visual-spatial intelligence is 0,41.
