Abstract
Ring Electromagnetic Accelerator props are used as learning media so that students are able to understand more about the concept of prophetic-based Lorentz Force. The research method used is quantitative with experimental methods. The subjects in this study were 10 students of the Physics Education Study Program in the 6th and 8th semesters of the Muhammadiyah Prof. Dr. HAMKA University who had received Lorentz Force material in the previous Electromagnetic Field lecture. Data analysis was carried out by comparing students' prophetic attitude scores during the Pre-Test and Post-Test using the Likert Scale and N-gain calculation. This study shows the results in the form of 80% can describe the theoretical basis of the Ring Electromagnetic Accelerator and its relation to the concept of Lorentz Force well. 90% can describe the purpose of using tools, tools and materials used, and write the course of research correctly. The Pre-Test results on the shiddiq aspect show that most students are at a fair to good level, and the Post-Test results show that students are at a good to very good level. Meanwhile, the Pre-Test results on the fathonah aspect show that most students are at a fair to poor level, and the Post-Test results show that students are at a good to very good level. From the data of the Pre-Test and Post-Test results in this study, the results obtained in the form of N-gain on the Pre-Test shiddiq and fathonah of 0,60 which is included in the medium category, and Post-Test shiddiq and fathonah of 0,75 which is included in the high category. This shows that the use of the Ring Electromagnetic Accelerator tool not only improves concept understanding, but also contributes positively to the development of prophetic attitudes in students.
