Model problem based learning untuk meningkatkan kemampuan analisis peserta didik pada materi transmisi manual
Abstract
Analytical ability is one of the abilities that must be possessed by students because analytical ability is an important factor that includes thorough and structured thinking. By applying the Problem based learning model, it is expected to be able to solve the problems faced. This study aims to describe: 1) students' analytical skills on manual transmission material before applying the Problem based learning learning model, 2) students' analytical skills on manual transmission material after applying the Problem based learning learning model, 3) differences in students' analytical skills before and after applying the Problem based learning learning model. In this study the authors used a pre-experiment method with a quantitative approach and a one group pre-test and post-test design. The data source is class XI TKR 4 SMK Negeri 3 Kuningan Academic Year 2024/2025 which totals 34 students using the description test technique. The results of this study are the ability to analyze students on manual transmission material before using Problem based learning with an average score of 36.74 in the “less” category. The ability to analyze the manual transmission after using Problem based learning has an average value of 55.84 in the “Sufficient” category, to prove the difference in this study a parametric test of significance sig. (2-tailed) 0.001 <0.05 which means H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Therefore, it can be proven that there is a significant difference in the ability to analyze manual transmissions before and after using the Problem based learning model in class XI TKR 4 SMK Negeri 3 Kuningan Academic Year 2024/2025
