Development of animated video learning media for light vehicle electrical maintenance in vocational high schools

Abstract


The purpose of this research is to develop animated video learning media and its significance to student learning outcomes due to the lack of student understanding of Light Vehicle Electrical Maintenance (PKKR) material. The method used in this research is quantitative pre-experimental type one group pretest-posttest design with Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate (ADDIE) approach. The results of the development of animated video media received the title “Very Feasible” with a value of 93.5%, which means that the media that has been developed can be used for learning activities. The media that has been developed provides a different experience compared to the media used previously from initially using still image media to moving image media accompanied by audio. Based on the T-test conducted, it can be concluded that there is a change in student learning outcomes between before and after using animated video learning media which shows the significance of learning media.
