GAMBARAN UMUM BURNOUT AKADEMIK PADA SISWA SMA NEGERI 9 PALEMBANG
Abstract
Academic burnout is a condition of exhaustion experienced by students due to excessive and continuous academic pressure. This condition has an impact on the decline in learning motivation and academic achievement of students. This study aims to provide an overview of academic burnout experienced by students at SMA Negeri 9 Palembang. This study uses a quantitative descriptive research design with a cross-sectional survey design. Data in this study were collected using the School Burnout Inventory, then processed and compiled. The results show that the level of academic burnout among students at SMA Negeri 9 Palembang is predominantly moderate, with a percentage of 66.1%. This indicates that moderate burnout is a common condition experienced by students at SMA Negeri 9 Palembang.
Burnout akademik adalah kondisi kelelahan yang dialami oleh siswa akibat tekanan akademik yang berlebihan dan berlangsung secara terus – menerus. kondisi ini berdampak pada penurunan motivasi belajar hingga prestasi akademik siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran umum burnout akademik yang dialami oleh siswa SMA Negeri 9 Palembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan Cross-Sectional Survey Designs. Data dalam penelitian diambil menggunakan School Burnout Inventory kemudian diolah dan disusun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat burnout akademik siswa SMA Negeri 9 Palembang didominasi pada level sedang dengan persentase sebesar 66,1%. Ini menunjukkan bahwa burnout pada level sedang merupakan kondisi umum yang dialami oleh siswa di SMA Negeri 9 Palembang.
