TELAAH KONSEPTUAL DOMAIN 'USE' AECT 2008 SEBAGAI KERANGKA INTEGRASI PLATFORM DIGITAL DALAM PEMBELAJARAN DIGITAL
Abstract
The use of digital platforms in education has become a requirement in the age of digital transformation. However, many implementations are carried out in an ad-hoc manner without a well-defined conceptual foundation. The "USE" (Utilization) domain from AECT 2008 is examined in this article as a conceptual framework for integrating digital platforms into education. This study examines four USE sub-domains—Media Utilization, Diffusion of Innovations, Implementation & Institutionalization, and Policies & Regulations—and connects them to contemporary digital learning methods using a conceptual review methodology. The findings show that the USE domain can function as an integrative framework that links the institutional, social, pedagogical, and ethical aspects of educational technology use. In order to accomplish successful and long-lasting digital learning, this article suggests implementing USE concepts into higher education policies.
Penggunaan platform digital dalam pendidikan telah menjadi kebutuhan di era transformasi digital. Namun, banyak implementasi dilakukan secara spontan tanpa landasan konseptual yang jelas. Domain “USE” (Utilization) dari AECT 2008 dieksplorasi dalam artikel ini sebagai sebuah kerangka konseptual untuk mengintegrasikan platform digital ke dalam pendidikan. Studi ini menganalisis empat sub-domain USE—Pemanfaatan Media, Difusi Inovasi, Implementasi & Institusionalisasi, dan Kebijakan & Regulasi—dan menghubungkannya dengan metode pembelajaran digital kontemporer menggunakan metodologi tinjauan konseptual. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa domain USE dapat berfungsi sebagai kerangka kerja integratif yang menghubungkan aspek institusional, sosial, pedagogis, dan etis dalam penggunaan teknologi pendidikan. Untuk mencapai pembelajaran digital yang sukses dan berkelanjutan, artikel ini menyarankan untuk mengimplementasikan konsep USE ke dalam kebijakan pendidikan tinggi.
