PENGGUNAAN MODLE PEMNBELAJARAN LEARNING CYCLE 7E BERBANTUAN MEDIA MOTION GRAPHIC UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN ILMU PENGETAHUAN ALAM

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low student learning outcomes in science subjects. According to the preliminary studies which had been doned by researcher in a high school formal education, in SMP Plus Banjarsari, it informed that the students comprehension was not maximally enough in natural sciences. It was shown by the under average result in cognitive aspect. Thus, a research about The Effect of Learning Cycle 7E as Learning Modle by Motion Graphic Media was completely done. This research aimed to overcome the low result problem in natural sciences comprehension of SMP Plus Banjarsari students.  Quantitative approachment was used in this research and research method was done by using quasi-experiment method and time series to design the research. Essay was excercised as an instrument for data colleting. Based on the gain as pretest and post test result, comprehension aspect score obtained 5.35 whereas applied aspect score obtained 1.83 and analysis aspect score obtained 4.53. According to hypothesis test result by One Sample T-test, generally or particularly the Learning Cycle 7E by Motion Graphic may increase the students learning result in natural sciences study

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA. Berdasarkan hasil studi pendahluan yng dilakukan peneliti di salah satu jenjang pendidikn formal yaitu SMP Plus Banjarsari, kemampuan siswa dlam pelajaran IPA cenderung belum maksimal, hal ini dapat terlihat dari hasil belajar siswa pada aspek kognitif yng mana nilai yng diperoleh rata-rata belum mencapai KKM. Berdasarkan masalah tersebut, dilakasanakan sebuah penelitian mengenai penggunaan modle pemnbelajaran Learning Cycle 7E dngan berbantuan media Motion Graphic. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi permasalahan rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA di SMP Plus Banjarsari. Dlam penelitian ini pendekatan yng digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dngan metode kuasi eksperimen dann time series untuk desain penelitian. Test jenis uraian (essay) digunakan sebagai instrument dlam pengumpulan data. Dilihat dari perolehan gain berdasarkan hasil pretest dann posttes, pada aspek memahami diperoleh skor sebesar 5.35, pada aspek menerapkan diperoleh skor sebesar 1.83 dann pada aspek analisis diperoleh skor sebesar 4.53. berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis dngan menggunakan uji one sample t-test, secara umum maupun khusus penggunaan modle pemnbelajaran Learning Cycle 7E berbantuan media Motion Grpahic dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA.
