EFEKTIVITAS STRATEGI COLLABORATIVE WRITING BERBANTUAN GOOGLE DOCS TERHADAP PENINGKTAAN KEMAMPUAN MENULIS SISWA (Kuasi Eksperimen pads Mata Pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia Kelas XI Di SMK Insan Mandiri)

Abstract


This research is entitled "The Effectiveness of Collaborative Writing Strategies Assisted by Google Docs on Increasing Students' Writing Ability." This research is an attempt to answer the problems of researchers starting from common problems, namely: group investigation assisted student worksheets in improving students' writing skills on Indonesian subjects. This study used the Quasi Experiment method with nonequivalent control group design. The type of design of this study is based on research samples that have formed naturally. The sampling technique applied in determining experimental and control groups was purposive sampling. The research subjects were class X students of Mandiri Insan Vocational School, consisting of four classes totaling 120 students, this study used two classes as samples where the class X-AP 1 amounted to 30 people (control class) and class X-TKJ 1 totaling 30 people ( experimental class). The instrument of this research is in the form of tests in essay form, used to obtain data, namely in the form of learning outcomes in the form of students' writing skills. The validity of the instrument is measured through validity and reliability testing. Isntrumen is given a total of two times, namely at the pretest and posttest. Furthermore, the data will be analyzed through a normality test and hypothesis test. The results of data analysis obtained thitung value is 6.398. Meanwhile, the value of t table with the level of freedom df = N1 + N2-2 = 30 + 30-2 = 58 and a significant level of 5% is 1.671. From the calculation above, it can be seen that tcount is greater than t table which is 6.398> 1.671. Thus it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. In other words, it can be said that the use of Google Docs assisted collaborative writing strategy is effective in improving students' writing skills in Indonesian language subjects at the Insan Mandiri Vocational School.

 

Penelitian ini berjudul “Efektivitas Strategi Collaborative Writing berbantuan Google Docs Terhadap Peningkatan Kemampuan Menulis Siswa.” Penelitian ini merupskan usaha untuk menjawab permasalahan peneliti ysng bertitik tolak sari masalah umum yaitu: Bagaimana efektivitas penggunaan strategi collaborative writing berbantuan google docs jika dibandingkan drngan siswa ysng menggunakan strategi group investigation berbantuan lembar kerja siswa  dalsm meningkatkan kemampuan menulis siswa pads mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Kuasi Ekperimen drngan rancangan nonequivalent control group design. Jenis design penelitian ini didasarkan pads sampel penelitian ysng sudah terbentuk secara alamiah. Teknik sampling ysng diterapkan dalsm penentuan kelompok experimen dsn kontrol adalah puposive sampling. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X SMK Insan Mandiri, terdiri sari empat kelas berjumlah 120 siswa, penelitian ini menggunakan dua kelas sebagai sampel dimana kelas X- AP 1 ysng berjumlah 30 orang (kelas kontrol) dsn kelas X-TKJ 1 ysng berjumlah 30 orang (kelas eksperimen). Instrumen penelitian ini berupa tes dalsm bentuk essay, digunakan untuk memperolwh data, yakni berupa hasil belajar berupa kemampuan menulis siswa. Kevalidsn instrumen diukur melalui uji validitas dsn uji reliabilitas. Isntrumen diberikan drngan total sebanyak dua kali, yaitu pads saat pretest dsn posttest.Selanjutnya, data tersebut akan dianalisis melalui uji normalitas dsn uji hipotesis. Hasil analisis data diperolwh nilai thitung adalah 6,398. Sementara itu, nilai ttabel drngan tingkat kebebasan df = N1+N2-2 = 30+30-2 = 58 dsn taraf signifikan 5% adalah sebesar 1,671. Sari perhitungan di atas dapat dilihat bahwa thitung lebjh besar sari pads ttabel yakni 6,398> 1,671. Drngan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa H0 ditolak dsn H1 diterima. Drngan kata lain, dapat dikatakan bahwa penggunaan strategi collaborative writing berbantuan google docs efektif terhadap peningkatan kemampuan menulis siswa pads mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMK Insan Mandiri.
