Pengembangan Game Edukasi Interaktif Pengenalan Badak Jawa untuk Siswa Sekolah Dasar Berbasis Drag and Drop Quiz dan Mini Game Catch the Fruit

Abstract


Perkembangan teknologi digital dalam pendidikan mendorong kebutuhan akan media pembelajaran yang interaktif dan menarik, khususnya bagi siswa sekolah dasar. Salah satu pendekatan yang efektif adalah penggunaan game edukasi berbasis permainan untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan keterlibatan belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan game edukasi interaktif pengenalan Badak Jawa berbasis drag and drop quiz dan mini game catch the fruit sebagai media pembelajaran konservasi satwa langka Indonesia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) yang meliputi tahap concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, dan distribution. Game dirancang dengan tiga komponen utama, yaitu penyampaian materi visual interaktif, kuis drag and drop, serta mini game berbasis pengumpulan objek. Pengujian sistem dilakukan menggunakan black box testing untuk memastikan seluruh fitur berjalan sesuai rancangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa game berhasil dikembangkan dengan fitur navigasi, materi edukatif, kuis interaktif, sistem skor, serta mini game yang berjalan dengan baik. Media pembelajaran ini mampu memberikan pengalaman belajar yang lebih menyenangkan, meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa, serta membantu pemahaman mengenai karakteristik dan pentingnya pelestarian Badak Jawa. Dengan demikian, game edukasi yang dikembangkan berpotensi menjadi alternatif media pembelajaran digital inovatif dalam mendukung pendidikan konservasi satwa sejak usia dini.
