OPTIMASI ATTRACTIVE SPACE PADA PERANCANGAN PUSAT KEGIATAN REMAJA DI KABUPATEN KUNINGAN

Abstract


Adolescence is a period of transition from childhood to adulthood. Several characteristics occur in adolescents during the growth process. Each period of adolescent growth has different characteristics. The adolescence period is full of fun and curiosity about everything. Adolescents are generally enthusiastic about developing sports, entertainment, education, and recreation. They desire to participate in these areas to relieve stress or train themselves to share their interests and talents. Adolescence is an important period for building character. Thus, adolescents need a place to nurture and improve their potential to develop their creativity and existence. Adolescents in Kuningan Regency have many activities and communities, but the facilities are scattered and not enough to accommodate their activities. In overcoming this problem, the design of the Youth Activity Center in Kuningan Regency is carried out by optimizing an attractive space that can accommodate youth activities according to their interests and talents and, at the same time, become a place to interact, collaborate, chat, and even develop an organizational spirit and literacy that indirectly lead to the development of academic and non-academic education. This place is expected to foster the character of independent and creative youth to improve the quality of human resources in Kuningan Regency.
