Abstract
Abstract: This RMC is motivated by the low beginning writing skills, especially perpendicular writing skills the students of class II SDS in the city of Bandung. This is caused by the students only do the practice questions in the book themes without any special reinforcement from the teacher about perpendicular writing skills. This research aims to describe the application of demonstration method by using media flashcard perpendicular writing skills in II SDS in the City of Bandung. The research method used is Research Method of Class (RMC) with a model of Kemmis & Taggart consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subject of study in class II Elementary School this amounted to 19 people. RMC procedure shaped cycle is performed as much as two cycles. Data collection techniques of observation, tests, and dokumeniation. Processing data in the form of qualitative data (data reduction, exposure data, drawing conclusions) and quantitative data (score test results, the determination of the category, mastery of learning outcomes and the percentage completed). The findings of the study showed an increase in perpendicular writing skills in grade II of SDS in the city of Bandung the application of demonstration method by using media flashcard..
