Abstract


Abstract: This research is motivated by low reading comprehension skill on 5th grade student of public elementary school in Bandung. The low ability of reading comprehension because the learning is still centered on teacher and student does not actively in learning process. This research aims to describe the application of cooperative learning model circ type to improve reading comprehension ability of 5th grade elementary school students in Bandung. This study has been done by using Research Method of Class with Model of Kemmis and Mc. Taggart. The research is done by two cycles, each cycle consists of four stages of research, which are : planning, Implementation, observation and reflection. The Instrument used in this research are observation sheet of CIRC model, evaluation sheet and documentation. The result of research showed an enhancement in reading comprehension skills of fifth grade public school X in Bandung with the application of cooperative learning model CIRC type.
