PENERAPAN MODEL RECIPROCAL TEACHING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN MEMBACA PEMAHAMAN KELAS IV SD

Abstract


The research was motivated by the lack of ability to readcomprehension of four grade elemrntary school students it’s because inlearning,the teacher still used a less veried learning model and the students arenot accustoed to reading, so that the reciprocal teaching learning model isapplied to overcome these problems.The purposed of this study was to describethe appication of reciprocal teaching learning model to improve readingcomperhension skills of fourth grade elementary school students.the researchmethod used classroom action research (PTK)Kemmis and Mc Taggart modesconsist of planning,implementing observing,reflecting,consisting of twocycles.the subjects in this research were fourth grade students in publicelementary school ,as many as 22 people.Research instrument or the dataprocess in this study used observation sheets,as well as tests,as docuentasionand paper student.the results of this study have increased from cycle I to cycle IIas much as 24% and with the average class increasing from cycle I with a scoreof 54 and increasing to cycle II to 88. And the percentage of graduation hasreached 100%.from these results,it can be councluded that the reciprocalteaching learning model can improve the ability of reading comprehension skillsof fourth grade elementary school students.
