PENERAPAN METODE ROLE PLAYING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PERCAYA DIRI SISWA KELAS IV SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract


This research is motivated by the low self-confidence of students in class IV-CSDN S in Cihapit District, Bandung City. This is caused by the lack of approaches ormodels used when learning takes place so students are ashamed to express their opinions.This study aims to describe the application of the role playing method to improve theconfidence of students of class IV-C SDN S in the district of Cihapit, Bandung. Theresearch method used was the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method with theKemmis & Taggart model consisting of planning, action, observation and reflection.Research subjects in grade IV elementary school, amounting to 37 people. This PTKprocedure is in the form of a cycle which is done in two cycles. Data collectiontechniques in the form of Teacher-Student Observation Sheet, Observation Sheet ResultsConfidence and Documentation. Data processing is in the form of qualitative data (datareduction, data exposure, conclusion managers) and quantitative data (determination ofcategories and percentage of completion). The findings of this study indicate an increasein confidence in the fourth grade students of SDN S in Bandung by applying the roleplaying method.
