ANALISIS KARAKTERISTIK KARYA RUPA SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR BERBASIS ADIWIYATA

Abstract
The aim of this research is to find out of the characteristics of visual works of adiwiyata-based elementary school students. This is motivated by the lack of appreciation of the students’ visual works. The visual works is the result of reclycling. ‘Pojok seni’ aims to creat a harmony in schools. This research uses a qualitative approach with a method of art criticism. The research subjects are adiwiyata school and non-adiwiyata school. The research uses observation, interview, documentation, and literature techniques. The result of this research are 2 two-dimensional visual works, 3 three-dimensional visual works, 2 fine arts, and 3 applied arts with five elements of fine arts: line, shape, form, texture, and color. The visual works make use of inorganic waste and natural materials. 2 visual works with the adiwiyata theme and 3 visual works with the non-adiwiyata theme. They are on schematic phase, dawning realism, and the pseudorealistic stage. The teacher’s duty is to develop a sense of appreciation of visual works of adiwiyata-based.
