PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PERMAINAN KARTU MATEMATIKA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS III SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract


The title of this research is "Development of Mathematical Card Game Media to Improve Learning Outcomes of Grade III Elementary School Students". The purpose of this research is to produce a product, namely a math card game in learning the concept of flat shapes to improve the learning outcomes of third grade elementary school students. This Math Card Game was developed through the Design and Development (D&D) method with the Planning, Production, and Evaluation (PPE) model. This research is motivated by student activities in the implementation of learning that is less active and not centered on students (student center). The teacher in delivering the material is only one way and has not used learning media. In addition, the learning resources used by students are less varied. This causes students to feel bored and unmotivated in participating in learning. This can affect student learning outcomes to be low. One effort to overcome these problems is to develop a mathematical card game media. The math card game media got a score of 87% in the "Very Good" category from material experts, and 90,5% in the "Very Good" category from media experts and 89,7% in the “Very Good” category from learning practitioner. Then from the student learning outcomes test at the time of the pretest, the average score was 15,6. student learning outcomes test at the time of the post test showed an average score of 79,4. The results in the study showed that the mathematical card game media that had been developed was categorized as very feasible to use.
