Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of media that can be used as a means of habituation (habit-forming) to develop student character education, especially characters that are in accordance with the values and norms of Pancasila in elementary schools. This study aims to develop a learning media in the form of an activity calendar that can motivate students to always apply activities that are in accordance with the values and norms of Pancasila in everyday life. The development of this activity calendar media uses the Design and Development (D&D) research method with the PPE (Planning, Production, and Evaluation) model developed by Richey and Klein. The media is tested for feasibility by material experts, media experts, and learning practitioners, namely teachers. The instruments used in this study were observation, interviews, and expert validation questionnaires. The expert's assessment was calculated using the Guttman Scale to get a firm answer regarding the feasibility of the developed media. The validation results from media experts get a percentage value of 81.25% with the "Very Eligible" interpretation, 78.6% with the "Fair" interpretation from material experts, and 100% with the "Very Eligible" interpretation from learning practitioners. As a result, the average percentage of the three assessments is 86.61% which can be categorized as very feasible. The media was also tested on a limited basis on fifth-grade elementary school students through interviews. The results of the interviews showed positive responses regarding the developed activity calendar media. From these results, it can be concluded that this activity calendar media is suitable to be used as a means of habituation for students.
