Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have come under public scrutiny due to their stagnant growth and inability to thrive in highly competitive markets. To address this issue, many MSME owners have taken steps to improve the quality of their products and services, one of which is through the implementation of the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS). This study aims to design an ISO 9001:2015 implementation model that can serve as a reference for MSMEs to integrate QMS and achieve certification. The research employs a research and development (R&D) methodology based on the principles of Borg & Gall, with data collected from MSMEs in Bandung, Indonesia. The proposed model offers a clear roadmap for implementing ISO 9001:2015, providing practical insights into the stages, cost efficiency, and benefits of QMS integration. This research is expected to enhance the quality of products and services in the MSME sector, support better market positioning, and promote sustainability.
