Abstract


The advancement of digital technology has increased the demand for teachers to master digital competencies in order to utilize technology optimally in the learning process. This study aims to examine the relationship between the effectiveness of education and training programs and the improvement of digital competencies among public vocational high school teachers in Majalengka Regency. The research employed a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The study population comprised all public vocational high school teachers in Majalengka Regency, with a sample of 225 respondents selected through random sampling techniques. Data were analyzed using the Chi-Square test and Spearman’s rho correlation analysis. The results indicate that the effectiveness of training programs has a significant relationship with teachers’ digital competencies, with the strength of the relationship categorized as strong. These findings suggest that the implementation of effective training programs plays a crucial role in enhancing teachers’ readiness to face digital transformation in the education sector.
