Journal History

In 2019 FPTK showed a new breakthrough. Through the ADB's Advance Knowledge and Skill for Sustainable Growth (AKSI) project for the development of UPI as a Center of Excellence for TVET for Teachers, FPTK plays an active role in the development of New Study Programs (including Professional Engineer Education Study Programs), Professional Certification Institutions, Vocational Teacher Professional Education Centers, TVET Research Center, and Teaching Factory.

In 2019, the Undergraduate (S1) Automotive Engineering Education Study Program was opened based on the Regulation of the Chancellor of the Indonesian University of Education number 4094/UN40/HK/2019. Automotive Engineering Education was established and accredited by the Higher Education Accreditation Board on April 2 2019.

To fullfill regard research and publication, Automotive Engineering Education Study Programme create the journal in terms of research outcome form publication article that suitable place to share many knowledge, findings and innovations. Motor Journal or IJAE (International Journal of Automotive Engineering) is the name inisiated by lecturer and staff from AEE study programme that inspirated through a critical discussion with some profesional association as cooperator such as APTO and ADGVI.
