PEMBELAJARAN DOUBLE LOOP PROBLEM SOLVING PADA MATERI DAMPAK SIKLUS AIR UNTUK MENINGKATKAN LITERASI SAINS SISWA

Abstract


Indonesian students science literacy is still categorized as low. In fact, science literacy is very important for students to have since from his first education. The research is aimed to determine the increase students science literacy in elementary school using the Double Loop Problem Solving (DLPS) model on water cycle impact materials. The method used is the quasi experiment with pretest-posttest design that is not equivalent. Sampling is done through purposive sampling with a sample of the research is SDN Gudangkopi I as an experimental class and SDN Cipameungpeuk as a control class are located in the district Sumedang Selatan. The instruments used in the research is scientific literacy test, questionnaire, and observation sheet. Based on the results of the research conducted, science literacy using DLPS learning is increased compared to conventional learning, namely with an average N-Gain of 0.22 and low category and the acquisition of mean rank of 40.67.
