PENERAPAN MODEL KOOPERATIF TIPE TEAM GAME TOURNAMENT BERMEDIA PETA KUIS BUDAYA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA

Abstract


Based on observations made in the fourth grade of Panyingkiran II Elementary School on the material of ethnic and cultural diversity in Indonesia there are problems in the learning process that have an impact on student learning outcomes. This is due to the performance of teachers who pay less attention to the use of learning methods and models. Less innovative and creative learning makes students less motivated so students quickly feel bored and bored which results in less optimal learning outcomes. This research was conducted as an effective effort to improve the process and learning outcomes of students. The action used to correct it is to use the cooperative learning model of the techniques of games games tournament with media culture quiz maps. The research method used was Class Action Research from the Kemmis and Mc models. Taggart. This research was conducted in three cycles. At the planning stage the results obtained are I cycle 90%, cycle II 97% and in cycle III 100%. At the stage of implementation of the results of the teacher's performance obtained namely 85% Cycle I, 93% second cycle, and 100% in cycle III. While the learning outcomes of students obtained from each cycle is the first cycle that is completed only 16 students or 62%. In the second cycle 20 students or 77% and in the third cycle became 24 students or 92%. The target to be achieved is 85%, thus the application of the cooperative model of the techniques of the games games media culture quiz map can improve the learning outcomes of students in the material diversity of ethnic groups and cultures in Indonesia.
