HUMAN-AI COLLABORATION A FRAMEWORK FOR STRATEGIC WORKFORCE PLANNING IN INDONESIAN TECHNOLOGY COMPANIES
Abstract
This study aims to analyse the influence of artificial intelligence (AI) on employee productivity and organizational performance in technology companies in Bandung. The study also examined the mediating role of employee productivity in the relationship. Data was collected through a 6-point Likert scale questionnaire from 133 purposively selected respondents. The analysis was carried out using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) method.
The results showed that AI had a positive and significant effect on employee productivity (β = 0.419) and organizational performance (β = 0.484), and that employee productivity significantly mediated these relationships (β = 0.187). This research highlights the importance of human resource readiness in supporting the effectiveness of AI. Challenges faced include low digital literacy, limited infrastructure, and resistance to change. This study makes a practical contribution to a sustainable and inclusive AI adoption strategy in Indonesia's technology sector.DOI: https://doi.org/10.17509/jbme.v10i2.83581
