RANCANGAN SISTEM PEMANTAUAN LAUT BERBASIS SENSOR ULTRASONIK DENGAN WEB WAKTU NYATA

Abstract


The national need for easy accessibility of tidal monitoring data, temperature and salinity of sea water in real time and has high accuracy is currently very much needed as a decision support system in decision making for the government and researchers. The existence of a national ocean monitoring system network, which currently has around 160 stations, is still deemed insufficient to meet national needs, while the ideal need for national marine monitoring stations is around 2000 stations. Includes 1340 national monitoring stations and 560 strategic local stations to meet the ideal distribution of marine monitoring along 82000 km of Indonesian coastline. Therefore, monitoring tides, temperature and salinity of sea water with an online system based on real time web is a solution to the problem of accessibility and availability of monitoring data. The method used is the design of a tidal logger monitoring system by utilizing ultrasonic sensors and Arduino Uno micro controllers, as well as GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) modules and web services to display monitoring data output. As for the website design, the Codeigniter Framework and Software Development Life Cycle methods are used. Later each device is connected to a micro controller and then programming is carried out for the data collection process, calculating water levels and transmitting data to a web server to be displayed in web form in real time. This study aims to provide data on tides, temperature and salinity in real time that can be used as material for evaluating policy making and monitoring the aquatic environment.
