Eksplorasi Perspektif dan Pengalaman Mahasiswa Calon Guru dalam Penggunaan Artificial Intelligence

Abstract


Sebagai aktor penting dalam pendidikan di masa depan, mahasiswa calon guru kimia perlu membekali diri dengan keterampilan digital, khususnya pemanfaatan Artificial Intelligence (AI). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis preferensi mahasiswa calon guru kimia dalam penggunaan AI untuk mendukung proses studi berdasarkan persepsi dan pengalaman mereka. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross-sectional study. Kami menggunakan semi-structured questionnaire untuk mengumpulkan data mengenai pandangan dan pengalaman calon guru kimia dalam penggunaan AI. Sebanyak 121 mahasiswa calon guru Program Studi Pendidikan Kimia terlibat sebagai partisipan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada calon guru kimia yang belum pernah menggunakan AI. Sebagian besar dari mereka menggunakan AI jenis chatbot dan text generative, yaitu ChatGPT. Mayoritas dari mereka menggunakan AI untuk membantu menyelesaikan tugas-tugas akademik. Meskipun sudah terbiasa menggunakan AI, mereka juga memiliki kekhawatiran, khususnya terkait akurasi data dari informasi yang dihasilkan oleh AI. Hal ini kemungkinan disebabkan oleh cara mereka yang mempelajari AI dari konten-konten di media sosial. Hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan sebagai dasar untuk penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai desain kurikulum dan kegiatan perkuliahan yang mengintegrasikan AI.
