SpoRTIVE

SpoRTIVE is an online scholarly journal published by the Physical Education Teacher Education Program (PGSD Penjas), Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) Sumedang Campus, since 2016. The journal serves as a scientific publication medium for disseminating original research articles and high-quality review papers.

SpoRTIVE focuses on studies in the fields of Physical Education, including but not limited to Physical Education Pedagogy, Innovation in Physical Education Learning, Physical Education Learning Technologies, Physical Education Curriculum, Health and Physical Education, Sports Education, Character Education Based on Physical Education, Sports and Health, as well as Sport Tourism. In addition, the journal publishes empirical research in school-based educational contexts, systematic literature reviews related to education and learning innovation, and studies on character education in formal schooling.

In order to strengthen its academic contribution and publication sustainability, starting in 2026, SpoRTIVE is scheduled to publish three issues per year. This policy reflects the journal’s commitment to expanding access to high-quality research and responding to the growing scholarly discourse in physical education, sports, health, and character education.

SpoRTIVE is dedicated to promoting rigorous, relevant, and impactful scholarship that supports the advancement of education and character development through physical education and sport.
