Author Guidelines

1. The manuscript submitted for loading in the ASEAN Journal of Sport for Development and Peace (AJSDP) is his own work, original, and free from plagiarism.
2. The manuscript has never been and is not in the process of filing for publication in media other than AJSP.
3. The author who submits the written manuscript to the AJSDP Editor agrees to follow every process set by AJSDP.
4. The manuscript is written in English by following the template of the article that has been provided, the number of words ranges from 3,000 to 5,000 words (7-10 sheets), excluding the references list.
5. Abstract written no more than 300 words with 4-6 keywords included. Abstracts must contain objectives, instruments and methods, results, findings and discussions.
6. Under the abstract, about three to five keywords will appear along with the main body of the article with a font size of 12.
7. The subtitles used are Introduction, Methods, Result, Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgment, and References.
8. AJSDP runs a peer review process and promotes blind reviewing. To facilitate this process, the author's name (without an academic degree), institutional affiliation, and associated author's email address must appear only on the removable cover sheet.
9. Articles must be written in English in one space, using Microsoft Word, font size 12, Bookman Old Style, top and bottom margins of 2.54 cm, left and right margins of 1.91 cm.
10. The title must be less than 12 words, uppercase, middle, with a zize font of 14.
11. Introduction. In this section the author should be able to provide background on topics or issues related to the research according to the development of the current situation and conditions. Explain why researchers take this topic and why researchers think of this as an important topic. Reveal about previous research related to research and gaps in these studies. All introductions should be presented in paragraph form, not pointers, with a proportion of 15-20% of the overall length of the article.
12. The method section consists of a description of the research design, partispan or data source, data collection, procedures and data analysis with a proportion of 10-15% of the total length of the article, all presented in paragraph form.
13. The findings and discussion section consists of a description of the results of data analysis to answer research questions and their meanings judging from the latest theories and references from the intended area. The proportion of this section is 40-60% of the total length of the article.

15. The conclusion section consists of a summary, a re-presentation of the main findings.
16. Use only horizontal lines when using tables. Put table numbers and table headings on top of them. As for the picture put the gmabar number and the title of the image below.
17. Every source cited in the article body must appear in the reference, and all sources that appear in the reference should be quoted in the article body.
18. Quotes and references follow the APA style and the latter should be included at the end of the article.

 

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
