Studi Fenomena Konstruksi Makna Pola Asuh Orang Tua pada Visual Desain Karakter Gaya Parenting

Abstract


Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana konstruksi makna yang terbentuk pada orang tua baru pengikut akun edukasi parenting di Instagram. Khususnya konstruksi makna yang terbentuk pada pola pengasuhan dan tampilan desain karakter sosok ibu. Perkembangan dalam ranah edukasi parenting telah terjadi karena para orang tua muda saat ini memiliki lebih banyak akses informasi pengasuhan dari media baru. Sebagai media berbagi konten visual, tampilan dalam konten Instagram menjadi aspek penting yang harus diperhatikan karena memengaruhi dan membangkitkan hasrat audiens. Desain karakter sendiri memiliki peran dalam penyampaian komunikasi pada konten yang dibagikan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana konstruksi makna pola asuh yang terbentuk di kalangan orang tua baru dan apakah desain karakter yang ditampilkan sesuai dengan makna pola asuh yang terbentuk. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi untuk menggali secara lebih dalam mengenai pemaknaan dan pengalaman para orang tua baru terhadap desain karakter visual sosok ibu dalam pola pengasuhan anak.
