Desain Game RPG: Pemahaman Numerasi Awal pada Kurikulum Merdeka
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendesain dan mengembangkan aplikasi game model RPG (Role Playing Game) sebagai media pembelajaran yang efektif meningkatkan pemahaman numerasi awal pada anak usia dini. Numerasi awal menjadi landasan penting dalam perkembangan numerasi selanjutnya, khususnya pada anak usia 4-6 tahun. Kurikulum Merdeka menekankan pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan minat dan bakat anak serta pemanfaatan teknologi digital. Model game RPG dipilih karena interaktivitasnya yang melibatkan pemecahan masalah dan mendorong eksplorasi. Game RPG ini diadaptasi dengan unsur numerasi awal, seperti pencacahan, pengenalan bilangan, operasi hitung sederhana, serta konsep ruang dan bentuk. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari tahap analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Uji coba game dilakukan pada sekelompok anak usia dini untuk mengukur efektivitas dan kesesuaian game sebagai media pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi game model RPG ini efektif dan menyenangkan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman numerasi awal, sehingga membantu anak-anak membangun landasan kuat dalam numerasi serta mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan pemecahan masalah.
