Archiving Policy

Edukids: Jurnal Pertumbuhan, Perkembangan, dan Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini is committed to the long-term preservation of and access to everything it publishes. If the journal stops publishing, its articles will remain available through the services below.

1. Digital Preservation

  • LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe): Edukids takes part in the LOCKSS system, which keeps copies of the journal in participating libraries so that the content can be preserved and restored. The LOCKSS manifest is available at https://ejournal.upi.edu/index.php/edukid/gateway/lockss.

  • PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN): Edukids content is deposited in the PKP PN, which preserves journals published on Open Journal Systems.

2. Persistent Identifiers and Indexing

  • Every article is assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) registered with Crossref, so the link to the article remains valid even if the web address changes.

  • Article metadata and full texts are also stored in Garuda (Garba Rujukan Digital), managed by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia.

3. Journal Server

  • The journal website and all issues are hosted on the Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia server, managed by the Office of Journals and Publications, UPI, with regular backups.

4. Self-archiving by Authors

  • Articles are published under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license. Authors may deposit the published version of their article in institutional repositories, subject repositories, or personal websites at any time, provided that the original publication in Edukids is acknowledged and the DOI is included.
