PENGEMBANGAN E-MODUL BERBASIS KEARIFAN LOKAL PADA MATERI KARYA ILMIAH: STUDI VALIDITAS MATERI, BAHASA, DAN MEDIA
Abstract
This study aimed to develop a local wisdom-based e-module on scientific writing materials and determine its validity based on assessments from material experts, language experts, and media experts. The e-module was developed using the Canva platform in an interactive digital format, integrating Malay Riau Archipelago local wisdom elements—including Jong boat traditions, Malay culinary heritage, and maritime culture—as contextual examples and learning activities within scientific writing tasks. The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the 4D model (define, design, develop, and disseminate). The study was deliberately limited to the develop stage, focusing on expert validation prior to field trials. Validation instruments used a five-point Likert scale covering content feasibility, language quality, and media design. The results showed that material expert validation reached 97% (very valid), language expert validation reached 98.33% (very valid), and media expert validation reached 98.71% (very valid). These consistently high scores indicate that the e-module meets established quality standards for content accuracy, linguistic clarity, and media design—qualifying it for the next stage of practicality and effectiveness testing in actual classroom settings. Future research should conduct student trials with pre-test and post-test designs to empirically measure the module’s impact on learning outcomes.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan e-modul berbasis kearifan lokal pada materi karya ilmiah serta mengetahui tingkat validitasnya berdasarkan penilaian ahli materi, ahli bahasa, dan ahli media. E-modul dikembangkan menggunakan platform Canva dalam format digital interaktif yang mengintegrasikan unsur kearifan lokal Melayu Kepulauan Riau—seperti tradisi Perahu Jong, kuliner Melayu, dan budaya maritim—sebagai contoh kontekstual dan aktivitas pembelajaran dalam tugas karya ilmiah. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan 4D yang meliputi tahap define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Penelitian ini dibatasi pada tahap develop yang berfokus pada validasi produk oleh para ahli, sebelum dilanjutkan ke uji coba lapangan. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar validasi berskala Likert lima tingkat untuk ahli materi, ahli bahasa, dan ahli media. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa validasi ahli materi memperoleh persentase sebesar 97%, validasi ahli bahasa sebesar 98,33%, dan validasi ahli media sebesar 98,71% dengan kategori sangat valid. Nilai validasi yang tinggi pada ketiga aspek menunjukkan bahwa e-modul telah memenuhi standar kelayakan isi, ketepatan bahasa, dan kualitas desain media yang ditetapkan oleh para validator. Dengan demikian, e-modul yang dikembangkan layak untuk dilanjutkan ke tahap uji praktikalitas dan efektivitas melalui uji coba siswa secara langsung di kelas.
