PENGARUH KEPEMIMPINAN TRANSFORMASIONAL DAN KOMPENSASI TERHADAP KINERJA GURU DIMEDIASI KEPUASAN KERJA GURU
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the influence of transformational leadership and compensation on teacher performance, with job satisfaction as a mediating variable. The research was conducted in three public junior high schools in North Jakarta. A quantitative approach was applied, using Structural Equation Modeling analysis with SmartPLS. The findings indicate that transformational leadership and compensation have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. Job satisfaction was also found to positively influence teacher performance. Moreover, both transformational leadership and compensation directly affect teacher performance. Job satisfaction significantly mediates the relationship between transformational leadership and compensation on teacher performance. These findings emphasize the importance of inspirational leadership and fair compensation systems in enhancing teacher performance through improved job satisfaction.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional dan kompensasi terhadap kinerja guru dengan kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel mediasi. Penelitian dilakukan pada tiga Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) Negeri di Jakarta Utara. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode analisis data Structural Equation Modeling menggunakan SmartPLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional dan kompensasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Kepuasan kerja terbukti berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja guru. Selain itu, kepemimpinan transformasional dan kompensasi juga memiliki pengaruh positif langsung terhadap kinerja guru. Kepuasan kerja secara signifikan memediasi hubungan antara kepemimpinan transformasional dan kompensasi terhadap kinerja guru. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya gaya kepemimpinan yang inspiratif dan sistem kompensasi yang adil dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru melalui peningkatan kepuasan kerja mereka.
