PENGARUH PENERAPAN KESELAMATAN DAN KESEHATAN KERJA (K3) DI BENGKEL TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR PRAKTIK PEMESINAN SISWA KELAS XI SMK NEGERI 4 PALEMBANG
Abstract
This research aims to determine the effect of the implementation of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) in the workshop on the learning outcomes of machining practices for 11th grade students at SMK Negeri 4 Palembang. The method used is mixed methods, which is a combination of qualitative and quantitative approaches. Sampling was done using snowball sampling and random sampling techniques. Data was collected through interviews and questionnaires, and the validity of the data was tested through source triangulation and validation. The results of the research through interview techniques showed that the facilities and infrastructure for OSH are quite good, such as personal protective equipment, fire extinguishers, first aid kits, OSH signs, and machine area boundaries, reinforced by questionnaire data with a percentage result of (91%). From the interview results regarding OSH procedures before lessons are conducted through briefings, personal protective equipment checks, regulations, hazard identification, and workshop cleanliness, while the questionnaire results show a percentage result of (92%). The results of the interview regarding students' awareness are quite good, although there are still some who are negligent due to incomplete personal protective equipment or not taking it seriously, as evidenced by the survey results with a percentage of (97%). The results of the interview on the implementation of Occupational Health and Safety (K3) can enhance comfort, concentration, and learning efficiency, supported by survey results of (95%), as well as an increase in students' learning outcomes and skills, backed by survey data of (95%).
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) di bengkel terhadap hasil belajar praktik pemesinan siswa kelas XI SMK Negeri 4 Palembang. Metode yang digunakan adalah mixed methods, yaitu gabungan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik snowball sampling dan random sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara serta angket, dan keabsahan data diuji dengan triangulasi sumber serta validasi. Hasil penelitian melalui teknik wawancara menunjukkan bahwa sarana dan prasarana K3 sudah cukup baik, seperti alat pelindung diri, alat pemadam api ringan, kotak P3K, rambu K3, dan batas area mesin diperkuat dengan data hasil angket dengan hasil persentase sebesar (91%). Dari hasil wawancara mengenai prosedur K3 sebelum pembelajaran dilakukan melalui briefing, pengecekan APD, tata tertib, identifikasi bahaya, dan kebersihan bengkel sedangkan hasil angket menunjukkan hasil persentase sebesar (92%). Hasil wawancara mengenai kesadaran siswa yang cukup baik, meski masih ada yang lalai karena APD kurang lengkap atau kurang serius dibuktkan dengan hasil pengisian angket dengan persentase sebesar (97%). Hasil wawancara penerapan K3 dapat meningkatkan kenyamanan, konsentrasi, dan efisiensi belajar diperkuat dengan hasil angket sebesar (95%), serta hasil belajar dan keterampilan siswa yang meningkat dengan data dukung hasil angket sebesar (95%).
