Analisis Permasalahan Kompetensi Guru Sekolah Dasar
Abstract
Teacher competence is a key factor in improving the quality of education and learning in schools. This competence includes pedagogical competence, personality competence, social competence, and professional competence to adapt to technological developments and student needs. However, various problems often hinder the development of teacher competence, such as lack of adequate training, low motivation, and support from institutions. In addition, the gap between the curriculum taught and the needs of the world of work is also a challenge. This study aims to identify factors that influence teacher competence and find effective solutions to overcome these problems, so that the quality of education in Indonesia can be improved. The research method used is a literature review that collects various sources relevant to the research topic. The results of the study indicate that teacher competence, namely pedagogical competence, personality competence, social competence, and professional competence in classroom learning still needs to be improved. Therefore, strategic interventions are needed in the form of continuous training, psychological support, and the strengthening of communication and instructional innovation to holistically improve the quality of education.
