Alam Sebagai Media Pembelajaran IPS dalam Menggunakan Strategi Edutaiment Di SD Negeri 1 Majatengah Purbalingga

Abstract


Current educational advances should not only produce learning experiences but also arouse emotions. Happy and satisfied learners during the learning process. Successful learning certainly requires good cooperation between teachers and learners. Using nature as a medium for teaching social studies is interesting and challenging. Teachers not only focus on conducting lessons in the classroom, but also move directly into practical application of the acquired knowledge. However, in reality, teachers at SD N1 Majatengah still use monotonous methods in learning activities, using numerous lectures in their explanations, and rarely giving lessons outside the classroom, which leads to boredom. The research method used to address this problem is a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation, which are used simultaneously to ensure the validity and legitimacy of the data. In addition, the author conducted interviews and observations to collect data. Data analysis was conducted through research activities and direct observation of the students surveyed. Natural environments tend to increase learner motivation and engagement because they offer diverse and interesting experiences. Integrating the natural environment into learning contexts can provide participants with diverse and holistic experiences and support cognitive, physical, emotional, and social development through authentic experiences.
