Hubungan Minat Belajar Siswa Terhadap Hasil Belajar IPAS Siswa Kelas V di SD Muhammadiyah Tanjung Raja Kabupaten Ogan Ilir

Abstract


The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is a relationship between students' learning interest and student learning outcomes in the subject of Social Sciences at SD Muhammadiyah Tanjung Raja. This study uses a correlational method (correlational research) with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were fifth grade students of SD Muhammadiyah Tanjung Raja, Ogan Ilir Regency. The sampling technique used in this study was the Purposive Sampling technique with three criteria; (1) willing to be a research sample, (2) fifth grade students are male and female, (3) taking the subject of Social Sciences (IPAS). The sample in this study was 25 students. The descriptive results showed that the results of the normality and homogeneity tests showed that the data were normally distributed and had homogeneous variance, meeting the assumptions for the parametric test. The results of the correlation hypothesis test showed a significance value (Sig. (2- tailed)) of 0.003 (α <0.05). This finding indicates that the Alternative Hypothesis (H1) is accepted, which means that there is a significant influence between students' learning interest and social science learning outcomes. The conclusion of this study confirms that learning interest has a significant relationship and influence on student learning outcomes in the subject of science at Muhammadiyah Elementary School Students of Tanjung Raja.
