ANALISIS PENGGUNAAN PUKAT CINCIN TERHADAP PENDAPATAN NELAYAN DI PERAIRAN LARANTUKA

Abstract

Fishing business development is a process of increasing production in the capture fisheries sector and supporting the economic life of fishermen as parties who directly play a role in the capture fisheries business. Purse seines are a fishing tool that is well known to all groups in general and fishermen in particular. A ring seine is a net that functions to confine target fish to be caught. The purse seine is a type of fishing gear that requires large capital to design this fishing gear. The aim of this research is to determine the income value of fishermen in Lamahala Jaya Village, East Adonara District who use purse seines. The data collection methods used were direct observation in the field (following fishing activities), interviews and documentation. The results of the data collected during the research were then analyzed statistically using financial feasibility criteria (Faradizza et al. 2019). The results of the analysis carried out show that the income of fishermen per boat using purse seines is IDR 7,499,628,225.
