Jurnal Kemaritiman: Indonesian Journal of Maritime is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal that publishes high-quality research articles covering a wide range of topics in maritime studies. The journal aims to promote interdisciplinary research and innovation in the maritime domain, including but not limited to the following areas:
- Marine Science and Technology: Oceanography, marine ecosystems, environmental monitoring, marine biotechnology, and the development of innovative marine technologies.
- Fisheries Science: Sustainable fisheries management, fish biology and ecology, aquaculture, stock assessment, and marine resource conservation.
- Maritime Transportation: Shipping and navigation systems, port and harbor management, maritime logistics, safety and security, and green shipping initiatives.
- Maritime Economics and Policy: Marine economic development, coastal and ocean governance, maritime law and policy, and blue economy strategies.
- Maritime Society and Culture: Socio-cultural dimensions of coastal and island communities, traditional knowledge systems, maritime history, and community-based marine resource management.
