Analyzing The Impact of Work-Life Balance and Occupational Stress on Employee Performance at PT Catur Sentosa Adiprima

Abstract


This study examines the effects of work-life balance and occupational stress on employee performance at PT Catur Sentosa Adiprima, Serang, Banten. The study addresses increasing work demands and the challenges employees face in balancing professional and personal responsibilities, which may generate psychological pressure and affect performance. A quantitative approach was employed using a saturated sampling technique involving all 59 employees as respondents. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression supported by t-test and F-test analysis. The findings reveal that work-life balance has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, while occupational stress has a negative and significant effect. Simultaneously, both variables significantly influence employee performance. These findings highlight the importance of maintaining a healthy work-life balance and managing occupational stress to sustain employee productivity. Therefore, organizations are encouraged to implement stress management programs, provide adequate rest opportunities, and develop flexible work policies to support employee well-being and organizational performance. This study contributes to the human resource management literature by providing empirical evidence regarding the relationship between work-life balance, occupational stress, and employee performance within the FMCG distribution sector in Indonesia.
