Abstract

This study presents a systematic review of the integration between quality management and data analytics within higher education settings. Following the PRISMA framework, 174 articles published between 2000 and 2025 were identified through the Scopus database, of which 55 were selected for final analysis. Thematic analysis reveals a marked growth in scholarly output, particularly during 2020–2025, signaling accelerating interest in this interdisciplinary domain. Four principal integration approaches were identified: data-driven quality assurance, analytics-enhanced quality improvement, integrated quality management systems, and transformative quality paradigms. Findings demonstrate a progression from simple analytical applications toward systemic transformation in quality approaches, with evidence of improved decision-making accuracy, proactive intervention, and more efficient resource allocation. Practical implications underscore the importance of strategic integration, sustained capability development, phased implementation, explicit ethical frameworks, and multidimensional evaluation. The future research agenda highlights the need for longitudinal studies, cross-cultural implementation, exploration of student agency, methodological innovation, and more comprehensive theoretical integration.
