Implementasi Model Investigasi Kelompok dan Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah terhadap Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Siswa pada Materi Siklus Air

Abstract


Critical thinking ability is a very important ability for students to solve problems. As for one way to do that to improve the power of critical thinking by applying the group investigation model (GI) and problem-based learning (PBL). This research is meant to find out differences improvements of GI and PBL  to critical thinking abilities. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental method. The sample in this study was of class V at SDN 3 Arjawinangun. The instruments used in this study were tests of critical thinking skills supported by qualitative data. The results of the study were that students' critical thinking skills improved through the GI and PBM. Based on the n-Gain experimental class of 0.075 (low) and control class -0.02 (a decrease), so the GI is not better than PBM in improving the critical thinking skills of class V students on water cycle material significantly.
