Abstract

Encouraging creative, innovative, and personalized learning has significantly transformed education and improved learning outcomes in today’s technology-driven world. However, the rise of the digital era also introduces major challenges, including the spread of misinformation and fake news that affect how students learn and think. This study aims to explore strategies for integrating creativity and critical  hoax literacy into digital education to strengthen students’ ability to analyze and evaluate information wisely. Using a qualitative descriptive method supported by a literature review, the research focuses on digital literacy, critical thinking, and fact- checking skills. The results show that promoting digital literacy among young people, particularly university students, enhances creativity, independent thought, and the ability to combat misinformation. Therefore, embedding creativity, critical literacy, and hoax awareness in digital education provides a strong basis for building innovative, adaptive, and future-oriented learning experiences.
