Abstract

This study examines how educational resilience and adaptive capacity sustain learning continuity, quality, and inclusion amid technological, health, climate, and social disruptions. An integrative literature review synthesized 14 peer-reviewed articles published between 2021 and 2024 across primary, secondary, and higher education. Reflective thematic analysis identified five interdependent dimensions: responsive governance and leadership; reliable physical and digital infrastructure; adaptive competencies and collective efficacy; context-sensitive, responsible technology use; and multi-stakeholder collaboration supporting vulnerable groups. Adaptive capacity connects preparedness, response, organizational learning, recovery, and institutional transformation. For Indonesia, the findings highlight the need for risk mapping, multichannel continuity plans, sustained pedagogical and digital capacity building, distributed leadership, family and community engagement, data protection, and equity-oriented evaluation. The study proposes a multilevel framework that moves beyond technology-centered and individual-centered views of resilience. Its conclusions remain limited by the small corpus, the dominance of pandemic-related studies, and limited representation of Indonesia’s diverse regions and education levels.
